It has one side to let down the beds and the other was to open the doors between rooms. The pullman porters had them and used them on the crakc trains across the usa.
Used by railroads like the seaboard, acl, up, sp, np, gn, at&sf, c&nw, cmsp&p, prr, nyc, southern, fec, ic rr, t&p, mp, d&rgw, pullman, rf&p and many others. This is a rare item. oGod luck.
