Sun Valley Idaho Poster Designed By Willmarth Vintage

This is a vintage (not a reproduction) advertising poster designed by wilmarth, featuring a graphic representation of all the wonderful things a vacationer would likely encounter during their visit horseback riding, swimming, golf, and of course, ice skating. Sun valley, idaho was developde by the union pacific railroad (up, uprr) in the early 1930's as the shangri-la of america. This poster and others like them were given to me by a friend and local businessman who received them from the up stationmaster when the union pacific closed their passenger operations in the late '60s. The dimensions of the poster are approximately 25 x 36 3/4. There are no creases, stains, etc. The colors are as bright and vibrant as the day it was pritned over 40 years ago. There is very slight edge wear on the left, and a small tear on the left edge center.

These would not be evident after the poster wsa mounted and framed. The image si not compromised in any way. This si a wonderful poster in the graphic style, presented in subtle greens, and dramatic browns.

The colors are so vivid and vibrant, my phoot does not do them justice, this must be seen in person to be truly appreciated. Buyer to pay actula shipping costs which include mailing tube, postage and insurance to be determined at end of sale. Poster will be shipped rolled.
